The Falcon Inn has been part of life in St. Mawgan for more than 250 years. Originally The New Inn and later The Gardeners’ Arms, it became The Falcon Inn around 1880, drawing its name and sign from the local estate’s coat of arms. Over the years, it’s been a place of lively gatherings, famous for its home-brewed beer, hearty hospitality, and deep roots in the community. Generation upon generation of villagers and visitors have sat, sipped and supped in this pub, a tradition we strive to continue with the respect and warmth it deserves.
The Falcon prides itself on its modern British cuisine & freshly made pub classics, elevated to an exceptional level with local Cornish ingredients. With its roaring fire, wooden beams, spacious award-winning garden, and three charming letting rooms, The Falcon Inn remains a place to linger—whether for a pint, a leisurely meal, or one of our community events. We serve our own ales brewed in the micro-brewery at our sister pub, the Seven Stars, Penryn. Dog-friendly and full of character, it’s a pub with a proud past and an exciting future.
